Hi Bill, The Victor kits are about the cheapest kits you will find
anywhere. But best of all, they sail great! these boats have wooden spars,
dacron sails, and stainless steel rigging. They also have a boom vang,
adjustable backstay, and outhauls and downhauls. Most R.C. models cost much
more than these boats. I have been able to hold my own against boats costing
over two grand.
however there is a cheaper boat on the market, It is called a Victoria.
This boat imade by Thunder tiger. You can get a combo. package, boat plus
radio for $150.00 these boats don't have a sail winch, so you have to head
them into the wind to sheet in the sails. But they perform well. you can get
