Greetings all:

My 1997 P-19 has an all round white light at the top of the mast and a
red/green light on the bow and a rear facing white light on the stern.

On the boat, the bow and stern lights are called running lights while the
masthead light is called a "anchor/steaming light. At night, under power,
this configuration results in two white lights astern (the stern light and
masthead light), the bow lights and the masthead all around. Is it correct
to have the two white lights shining astern, or should the lower stern light
be off when the masthead all round is being used?

Please assume that Canadian law is much the same as American in this
regard.
