With experience and quick pins, it can be done in a half hour at a leisurely
pace, probably much quicker.

Last time I went over some scales my trailer axle weighed 1780 pounds.
Figure another couple hundred or so on the tongue. I had much of the heavy
gear (motor, anchor) in the tow vehicle. My trailer alone is 300 pounds.
> 3. Does the P-19 trailer have brakes? Can they be added?
Mine didn't. With its light weight its not as necessary as with something
heavier. I'm sure someone will take your money to install brakes.

Yep. I have the Tohatsu which is the same thing, though mine has an external
tank. I burn about 1/2 gallon per hour at full throttle, though it doesn't
even take full throttle to push it to 5.4 knots in calm waters.
> 5. Is the P-19 really beachable? I love this feature if it is so.
Yes it is a fabulous feature and one of the things I most like about the
P19. Check out http://www.tx3.com/~ej/flathead/flathead.html
for a pic of my P19 beached on Wildhorse Island on Flathead Lake, MT. It
also floats in a spoonful of water so if you have a long sloping beach you
can often walk your anchor out by hand to come ashore for a bit.
> 6. What is the length of the cockpit?
Hmm. probably about 6 feet. maybe a bit shorter. Don't know for sure. 4
adults can daysail pretty well without being too uncomfortable.
