Hi Potter-ers,

I'm looking for information about P-19's built in the same era as my 1985
P-19, hull #266.

Inside the cabin, the liner has no floor. The cabinets just end where they
touch the bottom of the hull. When you stand in the cabin, you're walking on
the inside of the hull. Is yours like that?

Also, I'd be very curious to hear a description of your bilge. My boat
doesn't seem to have much of one. There is a low spot just aft of the CB
trunk where any water collects. Starting 3" aft of the CB trunk, there is a
12" wide horizontal layer of fiberglass 1/2 inch above the v in the hull.
There's a little vertical opening between the fibergalss layer and the hull.
This layer goes all the way aft to the foam under the cockpit. The water can
collect under the layer, and runs forward when you lower the bow using the
trailer tongue jack (or go down the face of a wave). Then I mop it up if
there is any. There is no drain plug in the skeg keel or anywhere else
providing an opening into the bilge.

This seems like a bizzare design to me, and I want to do something to change
it.
