I need help/information to install slugs on my P19 mainsail. I've just
received 7/16" Stainless Steel Sail Slugs and shackles from Sailrite and have
a copy of the instructions for adding sail slugs. However, instructions do not
include the following info:
How far apart and from the top of the mainsail do they attach?
How many slugs does it take?
Did you use a soldering gun to puncture the sail for the shackles?
They claim you can use an ice pick. does not the ice pick allow sail to fray
at hole?
