Well, Harry, I'm ecstatic that I haven't gotten rid of you yet. I definately
need some amusement besides just sailin' around during the summer! No, the
wind doesn't always blow across the lake. That is why Tahoe is so popular
amongst water skiers. Most summer mornings the Lake will literally be like
glass until perhaps 1 PM. Most days that I spend a full day on the Lake I
will go out and motor for several hours, beach it, enjoy my lunch and then
sail back home on the afternoon breezes.

Next I suppose you're going to tell me there's sailors out there who don't
have computers! I've heard my grandfather talk of those times. That's when
they used to have these motors called "seagulls" that owners talked of so
fondly. I understand they lasted for years. Probably because they could
rarely get them started, so they had a tendancy to last for years!
