AMEN James,

Before I bought my Potter, my wife, sister-in-law and I drove all the way
to Baltimore for the boat show (about 6 hours) and were buying tickets
when I happened to overhear someone say that there were no sailboats,
although they had been advertised. We toured the Harbour area instead.
Did raise my ire a tad bit.

I think more Potter's would be sold if they were shown at Boat shows.
There are many of us who can't afford a megabuck boat and I suspect some
who can afford it but don't want the problems of a big boat. Most of my
friends and business acquaintances are shocked to find out that I bought a
good used sailboat for $5500 and could have gone new for about twice that.
Manufacturers are missing the boat at boat shows. PLEASE pardon the PUN I
couldn't resist! <bg>
