After returning to England, they were much in demand for media
appearances. He wrote another book-- "Sea Survival". He wanted to
return to the sea, and she didn't. They were divorced in 1988. He
"lived aboard" in Turkey and Greece until 1990, when he returned to
England. He died in September, 1991, aged 67.
