Someone on this group mentioned Garhauer Hardware before, but it wasn't
until I saw them at this weekend's SAIL EXPO at Atlantic City that I
discovered why they are gaining in popularity.

I DO NOT WORK for this company, but I can honestly tell you that this
company makes incredibly rugged equipment at microscopic prices. You
simply won't believe how rugged their blocks, cam cleats, sheet leads,
etc., are and all at prices literally as cheap as Racelite stuff. This
is really an outstanding thing these people are doing, and I cannot urge
Potters strongly enough to FORGET buying at their normal chandleries and
contact Garhauer. I've been on this list long enough that you know I
don't work for these guys. I'm just amazed at what I saw and for the
ridiculously low prices. Example 3:1 vang kit (RUGGED AS Lewmar's big
stuff) only $55! 4:1 vang only $65. This stuff looks like it should be
on the OSTAR boats! Please do yourselves a favor and contact these
folks.
