While poking around the hardware store plumbing department I came across
these little plastic clips for hanging pipe. I had been looking for
something to clip small stuff to the 1" diameter rails on my HMS 19 and
really couldn't find anything other than the really expensive stuff at
the local "Yacht" shop. (Well, actually, "Boat Store" but I like the
ring....)

The clips are made of tough plastic and they really grab the tubing of
the rail on my boat. They snap on with a major kerchunk and it takes a
bit of prying to get them off again -- but they appear to be reusable.
They have a hole for a flat head bolt as shown in the photograph at the
link --

The best thing about them is that they are $1.29 for a bag of ten -- of
course they are made in China.
