Potter gang, due to a overwelming demand for my backstay kits I now have
more material. I will be able to ship some in about a week. I got a super deal
on the aluminum so I will hold the old price of $45.00 delivered. My kit
consists of two parts, the masthead fitting and the transom mounted chain
plate. You will have to provide the S.S. cable or low stretch cord and a
turnbuckle. Both parts are designed just for the P.19. My masthead piece
includes a stainless sleeve and delrin spacers, this helps prevent tangels
when raising the mast. I,M's doesn't include this. My chain plais made from a
T shaped aluminum extrusion. It mounts on the transom with two 1/4 inch S.S.
bolts. A drill and about ten minutes is all it takes. The parts are polished
6061 aluminum. they can be clear coated to keep the shine. I feel all Potters
should come from the factory with this set up. Jerry Barrilleaux
