I like the idea but not the implementation.
The "signature" containing my name, job title, employer and contact
information is automatically attached to each outgoing message. I like to
think that I have no elevated sense of self importance in this world. If I
had to type that stuff for each message, you would never see it. But this
eMail address is for work, and for work I need that information on 95% of
outgoing eMail.
I have had several Potter list members take advantage of it and contact me
directly by phone.
I also try to include the Potter list "signature" of name, boat model, boat
name and port of call with each message.
