Hi Mac,

You make a good point about issues that have been discussed several times
thoroughly before. It would be better if such issues didn't clog our
mailboxes.

I, for one, find it mildly burdensom to reply individually (privately or on-
line) to each
request for the same information. In fact, I have several "canned" responses
saved on my computer so I can just whip the reply out via private email.

May I suggest that with the archives not available or not working or not
searchable for some reason, perhaps we need an FAQ? Our esteemed List
administrator could then periodically post a notice telling newbies where to
access it.

BTW, I am sometimes guilty of violating the "NOTAL" standard - my apologies.
