The light on the front of the mast indicates that you are running under
power. Anchor light shows 360 degrees. Many folks hoist a light on the
forestay because a masthead light might be missed by someone nearby.
This may not be a problem with the Potter. Look for a light that draws
little power as it is supposed to be lit all night.
