I've got the same sail on my tall rig, and you're right, it really does look
silly. I was quite disappointed with it overall, to be honest. I was
expecting something in the 50sqft range as advertised, and this thing is
barely over 30. I wouldn't dream of flying it in less than 20 knots... so i
consider it a storm sail.
