Doug, If you really want your Potter to go to weather, buy the new mark 2
mainsail.Then rake the mast back by adding a 2 inch spacer to the forestay.
You also need a boom vang with the new main. I did this on my little potter
years ago and I rarely use the genny at all. The genoa has to sheet around the
shrouds and you will loose at least 5 degrees of pointing ability. Jerry
