Read the comments about the Christmas lights and had to laugh. As a kid
in So Calif, the Parade of Lights in most coastal areas <Long Beach,
Channel Islands/Oxnard, Morro Bay> were looked forward to
events--particularly the after cruise parties with great quantities of
"glog" and appropriate warm-up snacks. But being land locked, we didn't
let that stop us, and for the last couple of Christmases Pyro-Tech has
been decorated, including tree at the top of the mast, and is an entry
in the local Christmas parade. Of course, the first year, we pruned all
the trees overhanging the parade route, and the Santa on the tree took
quite a beating. Don't feel crazy with your new potter. We keep ours
parked in the yard and the neighbors don't seem to mind the traffic that
stops to look at it now and then.
