Of possible interest to potterers especially in the Mid-Atlantic area, I
came across a 1998 HONDA 5 HP/4 cycle engine for sale with only about 4
hours run time, balance of warrentee, etc. Owner decided to buy a larger
Honda engine. I'm told asking price is under $1,000.
FYI, my own Honda 5 HP / 4 cycle [ 1997 ] has really been great. At 62
pounds it was a bit heavy on my P -15 so I did reinforce the inside of the
transom. I now use it on my 21 foot customized Bay Hen.
Great engine.
