Hi Jim:
After that happened to me, I took a short piece of seizing wire (not lock
wire - it breaks) and fastened the the two turnbuckles together through the
center holes so that neither can turn. That fixed the problem. If you like
the tension settings, you won't have to undo the wire on rigging or
derigging. Hope this helps,
