My understanding is that the ABYC has accepted the small, one-burner
stoves like the Kenyon which use only a small container of butane as safe on
the conditions that the stove is bolted down and that the butane canisters
are removed when not in use.
"Someplace" - that mythical kingdom - I have a citation from their
documentation, but I can't find it. Note that the ruling is _not_
predicated on the characteristics of butane, but on the size and
removeability of the canister.
