A question was asked re the Tillerman. We use one on our P-15, and like it
very much. The t'man can be mounted with hose clamp, tried out, and the
location on the tiller adjusted if needed. We attach the line to the existing
strapeyes on the transom, so no holes needed to be drilled, and it's out of
the way.

It requires just the right amount of tension on the line -- enough to hold the
tiller in place, but not so much that you can't easily lock the latch down.
This may take a couple of trial tensionings and releases. Releasing the latch
takes a split second -- just press down with a thumb and it pops open. It's
easy to do from forward in the cockpit.
