Bottom paint

I am considering putting a "trailerable" bottom paint on my P-15 and have a
couple of questions:

I have never put bottom paint on a boat without a boot stripe. How do I
determine how high to go with the paint?

Also, my P-15 has blue trim. Interlux Micron CSC is available in red,
blue,
brown, black, green, shark white and dark blue. Should I go with a possible
"clashing" blue or a color such as red?
