Two weeks ago here at Franktown (near Denver), CO. I got my Potter 19 out of
the garage. Naturally, after an extremely warm, dry spring, it immediately
snowed 9 inches. April 17, though, we are hopefully going sailing on
Chatfield reservoir. Subsequent plans are Lake Powell, Granby and Navajo.

Anyway, (what a dreamer) I have a few questions I have been wondering about.
Should I trailer the boat with the centerboard resting on the trailer?
There is a roller directly under it. So far, I have let it rest on the
bolts on the centerboard trunk with a little tension on the winch to spread
the weight.

Also, what does everyone do about a table? I think a fold out leg on the
cabin hatch door would turn it into a nice table in the cockpit but mine
doesn't have one. Do Potters come from the factory with any kind of table
at all (in the cabin or cockpit)? I mean, what are we expected to do? Sit
whopperjawed next to the little stove, heat up the Dinty Moore and just eat
in our laps? I need somewhere to set up a dining arrangement with crystal
wine glasses, silverware and Royal Dalton china (Hey, we do what we have to
to get the wife on board) , but for some reason I can't find the formal
dining room in my cabin. Help!
