Potter Group:
Has anyone fiddled with the rope on the transom of a P15? It serves sort
of the same way that a traveller does on other sailboats. Is there any
advantage to making it variable in length? Is there some ideal length?
(Mine hangs down about half way between the two gudgeons when it is hung
over the back of the transom). I keep thinking when I sail that it might
furnish some way of contorlling the height of the boom.
I'd be happy to hear any comments.
Thanks,
Bill, "Bilzbote"
