I replaced the stock blocks with Harken triple blocks top and bottom,
used the existing turning block to direct wire downward, which gives a
7:1 purchase at the keel, and replaced the handle with a ten incher. I
did this last spring, and it worked great all last season. My chronic
shoulder pain from cranking the old stock system also disappeared.
Works good this year too.
