Greetings all:

I put my boat in the water for the first time this year on May 1. We had
three very nice days of sailing. May 1 and 2 were relatively calm, very
good for a shake down. May 3 had brisk winds which made sailing with
the full main and working jib very fun. I am happy to be out on the water
again.

Our big trip for this year will be on Lake Nipissing. This involves a tow of
approximately 1100 kilometres over two days. I am looking forward to the
warm waters of Lake Nipissing (when compared to Lake Superior). We
are doing this trip this year as practice for next summer when I have six
months off and plan to bring the boat to Florida and work my way north
with the truck and boat. I am interested in hearing of some of your
favourite places to sail. Imagine if you had six months off and could go
anywhere in eastern North America. Where would you go?

I hope that you all have a great season.
