Okay, I should have mentioned the obvious:
- the tie down strap was removed
- bow eye from the trailer winch was also undone
- the keel was fully up, resting on it's screws
(I guess that makes a good checklist fro launching, eh?)
Solarfry also mentioned: "This sounds like you did not untie the rear
boat straps",
where are those? unless you meant the tie-down straps...
Thanks for all the replys, from what I understand, it was most likely
due to a
7 month inertia on the trailer, next time I will try with somebody handy
to help me push it off, and then perhaps apply a little dish soap on the
bunks.
Now I can't wait to try again...As for the motor, I think it is probably
me not
following the directions...I'll have to review my procedure.
