The concept is valid, John.

But something doesn't sound quite right about your boat/sail.... why is the
foot of your sail so long?? Your hull number indicates is is fairly recent.
It couldn't be stretched out already, could it? Does it seem longer than
when you bought it.? Is it longer than every other P15??

I don't own a P15, so I can't go outside and take a look at the boom and sail
to see if maybe there's a simpler, more elegant solution.

Hey you P-15's, give this guy some help.
