In light of our recent discovery that "bow-riding" is a no-no on our
favorite sailing venue, we've decided to add 3-4 feet of lifelines from
the pulpit. We still have to measure and see exactly where we want to
mount a stanchion and deck anchoring point, but my initial idea is to add
two tangs to each side of the pulpit, one stanchion on each side, and one
deck fitting per side to anchor the lifelines. We'd use two coated wires
per side.
Has anyone done anything similar to their P-19? Any observations?
