I guess I could just stick my grand piano in the cabin that oughta ballast
it!

Probably what we all should be doing is going on trans-ocean cruises then
we'd have enough ballast!

I have quite a few chunks of concrete in the yard from where the driveway
used to be...y'all are welcome to use them for ballast.

personally tho' i like water as ballast since you can get rid of it
quickly and if the boat swamps it won't make things worse much. and a hint
of bleach sounds like a good idea regarding the eco stuff.

fern ridge reservoir is so full of junk already i don't think it'll make
much of a difference dumping the water back into it. (everybody's roundup
all the crap all the people stick on their lawns in Eugene...all drains
into fern ridge. it's a wonder it doesn't dissolve the boat!).

But really, what's wrong with a battery in the anchor hold? isn't that
enough?
