Just a quick note to relate to the group about an enjoyable sail on a =
local lake that I'm sure Gordon is familiar with, Anderson, just south =
of San Jose. This was the first serious sail aboard my P-14. I say =
serious because it was blowing about 20kts plus gusts. This is my fifth =
and smallest sailboat in 25 years of "pottering" on the water. I was =
genueniley impressed with 3 aspects of the boat. First, how solid it =
felt under those conditions, then boat speed and pointing ability, and =
finally, I stayed DRY during the sail.
I've always read the praises of these little boats, now I have first =
hand experience and couldn't be happier. =20
I'm sold!

P.S. Wish I'd bought a sail without that full batten,,, a real =
pain!
