Your suggestion is well taken, Geoff. They work just fine and are
preferable, 'tho its best (but *not* absolutely required) to use a bit
of Loctite (or lanolin or silicon or .... a lot of other possibilities
I'm sure Judy can enumerate) on the threads to forestall the worst of
galvanic corrosion.
