I know MINNYS of Newport Beach, CA (used boat gear-call info operator)
has at least 5-6 Seagull motors on the second floor in a corner
gathering dust most of the time. I have picked up several over the
years and all ran fine! They run $50.00 to 125.00. You can call Minny
and make a deal over the phone and trust him or his staff. As long as
you can feel compression, and no noise from the lower gear case (and oil
is present), all else is minor. I will be down there in a few weeks and
can let you know how many good ones he has! I will post to the list.
