As much as we gripe about the folks at IM from time to time, I think
they deserve praise when they get it right. I rammed the dock with my
new boat a couple of weeks ago, and called IM to see if I could get some
touch up gelcoat for my blue hull. They were kind enough to put
together a whole pack of materials to get my boat looking perfect
again. Bruce even took a good amount of time to explain to me how to do
the job. He was very clear and helpful. It made me feel good to be a
Potterer and get that kind of service.

For those of you considering a Potter, but feeling weird about not
having a dealer to choke if something needs to be fixed, my experience
has been that this is not a problem. The IM people have gone out of
their way a couple of times to help me out, even though most of the time
(as was the case of this dock ramming incident) they had no real
responsibility in the matter. They are just good folks. I thought you'd
like to know.
