My 1990 Shoreline had them installed when I bought it used. I
tow with an Ford F150 and the only way I can see the empty
trailer on some ramps is because of the guides. They do help
some in aligning the boat except when the wind is across the
trailer. Mine just bolt on, nothing fancy.

Check out BOAT/US catalog p93 Fulton $59.99, and I'm sure all
of the chandlers have them. Or if you want you could probably
make some out of PVC pipe, but probably not worth the effort.
