I have about a 6' long 2x6 covered with carpet on mounts welded
onto the sides of HAMADA's trailer, they only have about an inch
clearance on either side. When retreiving the boat, all you have to
do is hit the trailer, there's only one place it can go at that point,
right where you want it. I will (hopefully) have a web page up this
week sometime showing a lot of madifications to HAMADA, and
stuff about my new Newporter 40 that I just moved onto.
