I received two responses to my recent inquiry regarding lakes in SF Bay
area appropriate for us less experienced sailors. One chided me for
posting to the list in HTML (sorry), and the other was a very welcome
response from Tom Grimes, from Indiana, whom some of the members of this

list know and certainly esteem.

Here's another question - and another informational URL.

How's "the Delta" for the less experienced? I realize the phrase covers

an enormous territory, and I suspect much of it is swamped with PWCs.
Any specific recommendations, launch ramps, marinas, advice anyone can
offer?

Also - The Mehaffys' Cruising Guide to SFBay recommended by Judy
Blumhorst was just published in an updated edition, April '99. Failing
to find it in local bookstores or amazon, I'm awaiting response from the

publisher.
