Hi Everybody,

Okay, I finally settled on which outboard motor, got a Honda 2 hp, =
4-stroke, 28 lb motor for my P-15.
The horsepower seems to be quite adequate, and I am pleased with the =
motor. But one problem:

The transom of the boat blocks the motor from tilting up out of the =
water ! So my next step is a retractable motor mount, right? Does =
anyone have advice on brand, size, type, kind, make, model,
ANYTHING ? I've got zero experience and don't know if it matters. And =
when I was out of the boat,
standing on the dock, I noticed the cavitation plate is right at the =
surface of the water, not submerged,
like it is when I'm in the boat. So, do they make retractible motor =
mounts that both raise the motor
up out of the water, AND lower it down FURTHER into the water for when =
that need arises?

Please, anyone with any input, please reply !

Thanks guys !!
