Not all P15 factory mounts are the same so you
may not be able to do this but....
On our P15 we can tilt the motor up if we rotate
the motor 90 degrees so the tiller of the motor
is pointed to the side.
Our motor will come out of the water slightly
if we both move forward in the boat. In an
ideal world it would probably be better if
the shaft was about 3 inches longer but so
far it has not been a problem since one of
us is almost always sitting in the back when
the motor is running.
