Thanks for your input.
A peak halyard would attach to about the half-way point of the
gunter yard while the throat halyard would attach near the "jaws"
of the gunter yard (the part that surrounds the main mast.)

>From what you've reported, I'm not quite clear which the P-14
has? Does the halyard attach near the jaws (throat h.), or about
the middle of the yard (peak h.)?
