Hi:
Anybody who has considered purchasing roller furling for
their Potter, take heed. Our foil broke. Where it rested on
the bow pulpit, the weight of the furler actually snapped the
plastic foil while trailerling. I called the company and told
the lady who answered what happened. She asked for my name and
address. She didn't care that we had bought the boat used or
how we broke it. She said she would send us a new one. When
I told her that we would be setting out on a cross country trip
on Wednesday, she said she would send it second day ground.
Now that is service. It arrived today in a box bigger than a
card table, no charge, no shipping fees.
Julie and I will be heading across the Trans-Canada highway
from Western New York to Vancouver and then Whidby Island and
Seattle and returning via routes 90 and 80. We will be driving
a Honda Odyssey and "Tinker", our P-15, will be following right
behind. We hope to do some sailing along the way. Honk if you
see us.

Hank and Julie "Tinker" P-15 1981
