I ran over my anchor yesterday.

Fortunately, the trailer frame just knocked it flat - the wheels didn't
run over it. That would've sucked.

This was the first sail since returning from the Apostles, so we had to
rig at the marina. I set the anchor on the ground next to the bow, as I
always do. Of course, I forgot to actually mount in on the pulpit before
driving down to the ramp. Fortunately, Julie saw it laying there when
she parked the rig and carried it down.

We had great wind yesterday with temps in the high 70s. Just perfect.
My son loved it, Julie had fun at the tiller, and even stayed at the
helm through a couple of pretty good tacks. Mandy stayed below and read,
not really enjoying the excitement of a little heeling (15 degrees or less)
and some spray while beating.
