Hi Jack !!

Yes, YES ! The Potter 15 may be the boat for you !!

I just bought mine weeks ago, and it's my first sailboat. I bought it
sight-unseen
on reputation alone. And I have had ZERO regrets. It has delighted me on
each
of my five sailings so far. Simple for learning, lightweight, inexpensive
to play with.
Why, if lil 'ol ME can step the mast alone, with the boat in the water (!)
THIS is a
GREAT learner boat !! I have nothing negative to say about the boat.

I had her out in 2-3 foot swells yesterday, 10 knott winds, had a blast.
Felt totally
secure and stable. Got lots of practice tacking trying to get closer to the
whale
that lives in our harbor.

GREAT boat !! And endless comments from passers-by...
"What a cute little boat !!"
