Hi Joe, I use a wooden wedge about a foot long that I insert in the rear
of the trunk. I use this when trailering with the keel up or at anchor. The
keel has to be raised a little to do this. This will only work on a HMS 18 as
the trunks are not the same. Where are you located? Jerry Barrilleaux HMS
