NOTE: This is not my boat. I know nothing about it except what appears
below.

I ran across the following ad in Hotmail Classifieds at

http://classifieds2000.com/cgi-cls/ad.exe?P76+C189+A0+R1135752+Q550155223

"14 ft West Wight Potter - Rare Boat...Built in England $3,500 firm, Used
"Description - I challenge you to find another boat of this type in the U.S.
I only know of two others (one in Framingham, MA and one in GA.} This is a
C-Type West Wight Potter. It was built on the Isle of Wight in the U.K. It
comes with a trailer and a Gamefisher 3 hp engine. Please contact me for
more info. I will deliver within a 50 mile radius of Fall River MA"

Apparently the only way to respond to the owner is via the ad itself . I
did send the following through the ad:
"I'm the maintainer of the WWPotter internet mailing list. I've copied this
ad
to that list for the information of the group. If you'd care to write a bit
about how the boat came to be in this country and about how you came into
possession, I'd like to post that to the list also, as a matter of interest
to
some of our Potter owners.

Thanks -- Dennis Farrell"

If I get a response, I'll post it.
