Sure! Heaving to: come up close hauled, come about, don't uncleat the jib,
let it backwind (the sail will fill with air from the opposite side as you
come through the wind), luff the main (let the mainsheet run out as far as
it wants to ) once the boom crosses as you come about and then bring the
tiller all the way over to the "new side", the same side as the main is
on. The main will luff, the jib and tiller will cancel each other out as
the boat moves very slightly to leeward and the boat will level off and
stop, making it possible to do a lot of stuff, eat dinner, pee, sleep,
anchor, etc......Have fun!
