Does the trailer help the stability of the P-15 when it remains
attached? I've been curious about this but have been too timid to try
it. ......

In a more jugular vein, I have been looking for a junk trailer from
which I can obtain the the launching/recovery winch and post that it
mounts on. I thought it would be fun to somehow mount it on the bow of
the Potter so it looks like the rest of the trailer is also on the boat,
but under water.
