I tried a little experiment yesterday and changed my lapper sheets to inside the
shrouds instead of outside of the shrouds. The boat points great in this setup, but beam
reach and others is not as good because the sheet attachment point of the sail is pulled
back and wind coming off from the sail screws up the shape of the mailsail.
Has anyone tried running two sheets per side ? One set inside the shrouds and another
outside the shrounds ? So you can have the best of both setups. Any other ideas for
better pointing setup without losing the other points of sail. I don't want to do the Judy B.
cabintop setup because I only plan on keeping the boat another year or so.
