I forgot to say that you have two choices for a backstay. IM will install one for about $150 - a fair price, in my opinion. Or you can get a kit manufactured by Jerry Barrilleaux (Commodore of Potter's Yachters and a machinist) that's very elegant. I prefer Jerry's kit - it's more work but very strong, especially since he gives you a few extra parts to beef up the fittings at the top where the backstay attaches to the masthead.
