With all that extra ballast it should feel more solid. I remember a story
about one of the Potter Yachters P-15's being loaded down with around 7
people to make a store run. When I asked how it sailed I was told that it
never felt more steady in the water. The only problems I can see, is that
you are now pushing another 180 lbs of water out of the way, and all that
weight could end up in the wrong place if your boat does tip too far.
